Meet Our Staff
Dr. Tashna Felix
Owner/Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Felix is the owner and director of Professional Psychological Services. She is licensed as a psychologist in Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland. She is also a Certified Sex Offender Treatment provider (CSOTP) and qualified to provide adult and youth psychosexual evaluations, treatment, and consultation. Dr. Felix specializes in Competency to Stand Trial evaluations, Mental State at the Time of the Offense and Not Criminally Responsible evaluations, Fitness for Duty evaluations, Juvenile Transfer and Waiver evaluations, Psychosexual evaluations, and Psychological evaluations. She consults with attorneys, courts, and organizations, specializing in criminal, civil, employment, and family law matters.

Dr. Felix earned her doctorate degree from Argosy University/Washington DC campus. She attended an APA accredited internship at MercyFrist in Syosset, NY and relocated to the Washington DC metropolitan area in 2009. She has conducted numerous trainings and presentations including “Understanding and Managing Anger” for Parent Educational Advocacy Training Center (PEATC), “Psychology on Special Needs Family” for The Mary and Melissa Show, “Suicide Prevention” and “Mental Health” trainings for William G. Truesdale Adult Detention Center, “Comprehensive Approaches to Juvenile Sex Offender Treatment” for API Associates, Inc. and “Sexual Behaviors in Children and Adolescents” for INOVA Hospital. Dr. Felix is a member of American Psychological Association (APA), Coalition for Juvenile Justice (CJJ), Virginia Juvenile Justice Association (VJJA), Virginia Sex Offender Association (VSOTA), Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA), and National Association of Forensic Counselors (NAFC).

Dr. Tamara Watkins

Dr. Watkins completed her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Regent University and MA in Community/Clinical Counseling at Eastern University. Her clinical work addresses mood disorders, sexual and other traumas, grief and loss, anxiety, marriage and family concerns, caregiver challenges, female identity development, spiritual crisis and identity, compassion fatigue, burnout, self-care, sexual offender treatment, and sexual and pornography addictions. Dr. Watkins has extensive experience working with Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courts, Juvenile Court Service Units, Department of Social Services offices, and various community partners throughout Northern, Central, and Hampton Roads, Virginia. She is credentialed in Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and under supervision for the Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP) credential.

Ms. Bizen Tesfazghi

Ms. Tesfazghi is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who received her master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She also received her B.A. in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University.  Ms. Tesfazghi specializes in child and family therapy, group therapy and play therapy. Ms. Tesfazghi has a great interest in reducing stigma surrounding domestic violence.  She is also fluent in Tigrinya.

Ms. Kelly Kolyer

Ms. Kolyer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) who received her master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2012 with a clinical concentration in children and families.  She is a licensed practitioner in Maryland and the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Ms. Kolyer is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in diverse clinical settings including in a residential treatment facility, juvenile detention, and an outpatient mental health clinic.  She previously worked for the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services providing psychosocial assessments for incarcerated youth and making ongoing mental health and substance abuse service recommendations.  Ms. Kolyer also has experience providing juvenile sexual offender treatment through individual and group therapy modalities.

Ms. Hiwot Gizachew

Ms. Gizachew is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the commonwealth of Virginia. She completed her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, counseling from The Chicago School of Psychology. Ms. Gizachew specializes in working with children, adolescents and adults with range of concerns related to emotional dysregulations, mood disorder, substance abuse and life stressors. Ms. Gizachew specializes in providing evidenced- based treatments including but not limited to Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interview and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Ms. Olivia Withers

Ms. Withers is a Resident in Counseling working towards licensure as a Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She received her Master’s in Marriage, Couple and Family Therapy from Messiah College and holds a B.S. in Psychology and Crisis Counseling from Liberty University. Her focus areas include relational conflict, processing trauma and grief, life transitions, anger management, depression and anxiety.

Mr. Jean-Andre Constant

Mr. Constant is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Puerto Rico and completed a Postmaster’s certification in Clinical Supervision at The University of Connecticut. Mr. Constant has practiced in the field of mental health therapy and counseling for 15 years. He provides services for adolescents, adults, and families with a wide range of emotional issues. Mr. Constant is fluent in Creole, French, Spanish and English.

Ms. Lila Corey

Ms. Corey is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She earned a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University. Ms. Corey has experience working with severe mental illness, personality disorders, substance use disorders, intellectual disabilities, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. Ms. Corey utilizes an integrated approach to therapy which allows her to tailor to the needs of her clients.

Ms. Samantha Wright

Ms. Wright is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She received her Master's Degree from the University of San Diego in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is licensed to practice in VA, MD, and DC. She has training and experience in CBT, Exposure and Response Prevention, Motivational Interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Ms. Wright specializes in providing individual counseling for adolescents and adults, with a primary focus on disordered eating, anxiety, psychotic disorders, substance use, depression, and trauma.
